PHI 150 Business Ethics

Course Description: Ethical theories and the techniques of moral reasoning are used to analyze moral issues in business.  Topics to be studied and discussed include OPEC and oil, toxic industrial waste, role of government in business consumer protection, truth in advertising, unions, multinational companies, bribery, windfall profits, whistle blowing, environmental protection, worker safety, minimum wages, pension reform, and pollution of air and water.
