labyrinth
Labyrinth was inspired partly by the books I've read. In this case, Lauren Artress' book titled Walking a Sacred Path: Rediscovering the Labyrinth as a Spiritual Practice. I find the image and symbolism of the labyrinth very intriguing.
I have walked two labyrinths in Louisvlle, Ky and actually created a labyrinth when we owned property in Henry County, Kentucky.

Walking a labyrinth is an excellent activity for increasing mindfulness.
Without a labyrinth close by I am now using my finger labyrinth!
I have tried to create music that expresses that mindfulness through the journey of the labyrinth.
Many of my album covers feature the recurring theme of circles and the labyrinth fits into that imagery as well. It also connects nicely with music in general which is based on the circle of fifths. Scales can be seen as circular in that they begin and end on the same note an octave apart.
